¡Hola! I'm Jorge, a Film, Television and Media Studies graduate building a career across film, TV and emerging formats, with hands-on experience in Spain and the United States.
On the production side, I produced The Bear Beneath, an environmental documentary selected for the Santa Barbara International Film Festival and named a finalist for the Directors Guild of America Student Spotlight Awards. I also supervised production and post-production across four environmental documentaries at UC Santa Barbara’s Carsey-Wolf Center, and founded UC3M’s first student-run radio station, growing it from the ground up into a team of 100+ students. Alongside this, I represented 25,000+ students as Head of UC3M’s student government and served on the university’s governing board.
Most recently, I worked at the Consulate General of Spain in New York, where I built its digital communications strategy and developed audiovisual and digital content for audiences in the US and Spain.
I'm interested in understanding audiences, spotting where culture and technology are moving, and turning those insights into content and ideas that can travel across markets.
